Wash your locs every 1–2 weeks using a residue-free, clarifying shampoo. Avoid heavy conditioners or creamy products that can cause buildup inside the loc.
Always ensure your locs are completely dry after washing to prevent mildew. Squeeze out excess water with a microfiber towel and air dry or use a hooded dryer on low heat.
Avoid excessive tension at the roots when styling. Use natural oils (like jojoba or lightweight argan oil) sparingly to moisturize the scalp.
If storing uninstalled extensions, keep them in a cool, dry place, preferably in the breathable satin bag provided with your purchase.
